EVELYN SOLNIK July 7, 1914 - December 1, 2002 Suddenly and peacefully on Sunday, Evelyn, widow of the late Nick Solnik passed away at her home. Evelyn was born in Brokenhead, MB to Jacob and Sophie Feschuk. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Nick in 1978; sisters, Nettie Kaleski, Mary Woskowski and brother Steve Feschuk. Evelyn will be missed by her only daughter Maureen; nieces, Eleanor Harik, Sally Boynowski, Judy Stamler, all of Winnipeg and one nephew Clifford Kaleski of Ardrossan, AB. Evelyn was raised and educated in Libau, MB. Later she moved to Winnipeg and did domestic work for several years. After she married Nick she stayed home and was a devoted wife and mother. She loved her gardening and flowers. She leaves with us her gentle and kind ways and always a smile. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 7 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Don McIntyre officiating. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
