IRENE BARRE (nee PHILION) (Jos Descoteaux) March 17, 1953 - December 2, 2002 Peacefully, on Dec-ember 2, 2002 after a courageous battle with cancer, the family announces the passing of Irene Barre. Irene was predeceased by her father Alphonse Philion. Irene will be dearly missed by her husband Denis, her three children, son-in-law and grandson, as well as her mother, brothers, sisters, and their families. Prayers will be held on Thursday, December 5 at 7:30 p.m., with viewing one-half hour prior to the service at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 6 at 2:00 p.m. at The Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald, with viewing one-half hour prior to service.
