JANET WALLER The family is sad to announce the death of Janet Waller on December 2, 2002. Janet was predeceased by her husband John Waller in 1990; sisters Betty Halliday and Jamesina McLean; brothers, Donald, George, Hector and Colin MacGregor. She is survived by brother Roy MacGregor of Woodlands MB; daughters, Marlene Desmet (Rene), Carolyn Ison (Richard), Ruth August (Gerry), Laura Lucianetti (Arnaldo) grandchildren, Pamela Desmet Franklin (Mark), Leah Anderson, Daryl Desmet (Muriel), Colleen Scheid (Bill), Janet Baltzersen (Rick), Ian and Martine August, Livia and Giorgia Lucianetti; great-grandchildren Gale Franklin, Brennlee and Amanda Andersen, Daniel, Daryl Jr. and Dion Desmet, Daniel, Ian and Joshua Scheid, Jessica, Max and Jack Baltzersen. Janet had a sweet and playful disposition. She loved to socialize and saw the best in everyone. Happy times included many summers spent in Woodlands, MB in her young years and later at a much loved cottage at Victoria Beach with her husband and family. Janet loved to dance, be outdoors and beat us all at scrabble and card games. Her presence made everything lighter and we will all miss her very much. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 6 at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment to follow.
