FRANK LEONARD SWAN Peacefully on Monday, December 2, 2002, Frank Leonard Swan passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. Frank was born on May 18, 1939 and was a Band Member of Lake Manitoba First Nation. He is survived by his wife Marie (Bernice) of 17 years; 11 children, Grace (Gerry), Jeannette, David, Danny, Sharon (Leon), Frankie, Mary, Victor, Walter, Julian and Jocelyn; 19 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother Kurt Swan; sister Linda (Ron), and Rita; aunts, Lillian Pelletier (Ralph) and Evelynn Swan. There are numerous nephews, nieces and relatives. He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Elizabeth (Paul) Swan; sister Alma Swan and uncle Angus Swan (Baba). Wake service will be held on Thursday, December 5 at 6:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. at Parr, Winnipeg. Wake service will be held on Friday, December 6 at Delma McLeans residence, Lake Manitoba First Nation. Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 7 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church, Lake Manitoba. Interment to follow at Dog Creek Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers will be Clifford Swan, Victor, Danny, David, Marc St. Germaine, Geremy and Dylan Villebrun. Everyone present may consider themselves as Honorary Pallbearers. Active Pallbearers will be Horace Norman, Gerry Villebrun, John Swan, Frank Jr., Pierre Kirk Swan and Julian Chocken. We would like to thank Daniel Beardy, one of Franks best friends, the nurses at Heath Sciences Centre for taking good care of him and also Bev, Kathy, Piper and their children.
