DANIEL EDWARD WYSOCKIE On November 30, 2002, at Winnipegs Concordia Hospital, Daniel Edward Wysockie, beloved husband of Ethel Sarah Wysockie of Winnipeg, passed away peacefully at the age of 84 years. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by an only son, Brian Edward Wysockie of Ottawa. Daniel was born in Port Arthur, ON. (now Thunder Bay) and moved with his family to Meadows, Manitoba. Daniel was one of the first to enlist in his community when he joined the R.C.A.F. in February, 1941 and served his country until his discharge in June, 1946. Following the war, Daniel went on to practice accounting which he enjoyed greatly. Daniel and Ethel recently celebrated 54 wonderful years of marriage. His love of life, personal strength, sense of humour and compassion towards others will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Daniel was predeceased by his father, Frank in 1951 and his mother, Pauline in 1985. We would especially like to thank the Concordia Hospital Nursing Team in N3W for the care and compassion they bestowed upon Daniel and his family. A private family service was held on Wednesday, December 4, 2002 at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy, with Pastor Kathleen Remple Boschman officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Parkinson Society of Manitoba, 204-825 Sherbrook Ave., Winnipeg, MB. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
