WAYNE COWAN Mr. Wayne Cowan, aged 52 years, beloved husband of Betty of St. Georges, MB, passed away after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, December 5, 2002 at the Pine Falls Hospital. He will be sadly missed by his wife Betty; his daughters, Lisa (Jason Sippola) of Pine Falls, Roxanne (Chad Chevrefils) of Powerview, Chantelle (Dan Lavoie) of Powerview, Teresa Cowan of Powerview, Jade Cowan of Edmonton, AB; son Jason (Vicky McDonald) of Powerview; five grandchildren, Brittney, Nathan, Jordan, Damiann and Payton; his father Roy of Brandon, MB; brothers, Tom (Gwen) of Calgary, AB; and Ron (Aggie) of Alhambra, AB; sister Dorothy (Don Oliver) of Leslieville, AB; also many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother May and his grandson Levi. Cremation has taken place. Prayers will be said on Tuesday December 10 at 1:30 p.m. followed by the memorial mass at 2:00 p.m. at the Notre Dame du Laus Roman Catholic Church, Powerview, with Rev. Fr. James Gray presiding.
