Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERTA MILLER (nee CLARK) Peacefully, on Friday, November 29, 2002, in the presence of her loving family, Bobbie (Roberta) Miller, passed away at the Riverview Health Centre. Bobbie is survived by her loving husband Al; her children, Chris, Todd and Cindy Blicq (Andy) her special grandson Graham; and a sister Audrey Hermeston of Houston, TX and her family. She was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Mildred Clark. Bobbie grew up in St. Vital and as a young woman served on Eatons Teen Fashion Council. She graduated from Glenlawn Collegiate and attended Normal School, where she obtained a teaching certificate. She began her teaching career in The Pas and then moved to Selkirk, where she met her husband Al Miller and where they made many good friends. Following their wedding in 1956, work took Bobbie and Al to Red Rock, ON, where their three children were born. They returned to Winnipeg in 1962, and raised their family in Windsor Park and Churchill Drive. Bobbie was a skilled amateur painter, a wonderful cook and a devoted Nana to her grandson Graham. She especially enjoyed her summers at the family cottage in Loni Beach. In recent years, poor health kept Bobbie at home, but she maintained a keen interest in current events and the comings and goings of family and friends. She faced her infirmity with courage. The family would like to thank the caring staff of Ward 2E of the Riverview Health Centre and Dr. J. Montoedi. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 10 at 1:30 p.m. at Riverview Health Centre Chapel, 1 Morley Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bobbies memory to the Riverview Health Centre Foundation, 1 Morley Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3L 2P4. Swift now, the red dawn comes Fishing skiffs dance one by one On a painted sheet beyond the lawn. Hush now, hear the cry Of gull and tern on amber sky Let me rest here for a while.
