MARION ROCK (MASECAR)

MARION ROCK (nee MASECAR) Born in Saskatoon, SK, May 23, 1914. Passed away on December 2, 2002 at the age of 88 years. Marion grew up in Saskatoon, SK. She attended the Nutana Collegiate, as well as the University of Saskatchewan. She met and married Robert (Bob) Rock. He worked for Marshall Wells while she raised four children, who will miss her dearly. They retired in Winnipeg in 1980 and moved to the Okanagan in 1992. Marion and Bob celebrated their 60th Anniversary prior to his passing. They loved each other very much. Marion was an avid mother, gardener, traveller and loved to cook. She also kept busy curling in association with the Deer Lodge Curling Club in Winnipeg and the Winfield Seniors Curling Club. Her secret to longevity was to always keep busy with a sense of humour. To all who knew her, she will be sadly missed and forever live in our hearts. She is survived by her four children, Terry Perks, Roland (Sharon) Rock, Delavin Rock and Gordon Rock.
