EDWARD SIUDY It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of a brother, uncle and friend, on November 8, 2002, at the St. Boniface Hospital after a courageous battle with Diabetes. Born in Poland, December 23, 1921. He served in the Polish Army. After being a prisoner of war for two years, he was Honourable Discharged in 1943, and came to Canada in 1947. In 1952, Edward started working at Burns Foods as an Engineer. Later years as Chief Engineer, retiring in 1987. He was predeceased by his parents, one brother and two sisters during the war. He is survived by his sister Adela, nephews Bob and Gerry, grandnephew Jason, also a special friend of 26 years, who cared for him after his triple bypass surgery in 1985, and later years through his suffering from the effects of Diabetes. Thank you to all his friends for their kindness to him, especially his two special friends, Roland and Cameron. Rest in peace in dear brother and friend, and suffer no more. Donations in his memory may be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
