Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTANLEY NOEL UDOW, LL.B. Passed away on November 28, 2002 at age 71, leaving behind his wife of 19 years, Marsha; children, Jay, Susan Gershman (Harold), David, Andrea Rodin Gruber (Michael) grandchildren, Jennifer and Rachel Gershman; and sister Elizabeth Fleishman (Jerry). Stanley was born in Winnipeg and lived here all his life. He graduated from the University of Manitoba and practised law for 37 years in Winnipeg, Stonewall, The Pas, and Gimli. Stan loved his family deeply and was proud of his childrens accomplishments. He was especially thrilled to have two beautiful granddaughters. He had deep respect and a special place in his heart for Marsha, who stuck with him through everything, spending time with him, advocating for him, and making the best of every moment. We will all miss Stanleys love, sense of humour, intelligence, forthrightness, sense of adventure, and blue eyes. One of Stans great passions was playing bridge, and he achieved Life Master status. He and Marsha spent many evenings and weekends playing bridge at home and travelling to tournaments. They made many close friends through bridge who will miss him. Stanley had been a resident of the Sharon Home for the past four years, as his health deteriorated following heart surgery in 1997. Despite his physical limitations, he enjoyed life. Stan always had a big smile for his visitors, family, and the wonderful, caring staff who always treated him with dignity and respect. Funeral services were held December 1 at the Shaarey Zedek Synagogue. Memorial donations may be made to the Sharon Home or a charity of your choice.
