JUNE WESELAKE (nee BREAULT) June 24, 1941 - December 6, 2002 On Friday, December 6, 2002 after a lengthy and courageous battle, Lorna passed away with family and friends by her side at Riverview Health Centre. She was predeceased by her parents, Lorn and Berthe Breault. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 42 years Ted, daughter Barbara, her husband Ken Kneeshaw, son Michael, daughter Sheryl, grandchildren, Paul and Ashlee; mother-in-law Mary Weselake; brothers, Robert (Joyce) and Leonard (Florence) Breault; brothers-in-law, Lawrence (Llowyin) and Joseph (Denise) Weselake. Along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Lorna was born and raised in Winnipeg. During the earlier years of her marriage they lived in Selkirk, returning to Winnipeg in 1974. She had been employed throughout her career as a financial administrator, the last many years as the Financial Director of the Saint Boniface Diocesan High School. She also served on the Board of Directors for the school. This position she enjoyed immensely and she was much beloved and respected by her colleagues. She was also a member of the Catholic Womens League of Saint Bernadette Parish. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She loved spending her summers at the lake with many friends in Manitoba and the United States. Lorna was an avid reader and follower of politics. Mom was a very strong, courageous woman who was fun, intelligent and so easy to be with. She was loved by all for her amazing sense of humour and she always kept the family on their toes. Mom taught us about love, life, strength, laughter and common sense. She was the best wife, mother, grandma and friend we could have ever wished for. Mom was the center of our family and she will be missed in ways that we cannot even begin to express. We love you Mom, you will forever be in out hearts. Honey, you were my best friend, companion and the love of my life. Love you. As a family we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the amazing staff at the Health Sciences Centre, CancerCare Clinic, and Riverview Health Centre. The love, care and tireless support provided to us was invaluable. A celebration of Lornas life will be held on Wednesday, December 11 at 11:00 a.m. at the Saint Bernadette Parish, 820 Cottonwood.
