RUTH KELLN (nee GELHORN) Surrounded by her family, on Sunday, December 8, 2002, Ruth Kelln passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 61. Ruth will be deeply missed by her husband and best friend Cliff, of 42 years of marriage; mother Senda Gelhorn (nee Buss) two daughters, Cindy (Ken) McPetrie, Wendy (Richard) Pater; and four grandchildren, Brett, Dennis, Jason and Jennifer. Ruth was predeceased by her father Godfrey Gelhorn and infant son Randall Clifford. Ruth was born in Winnipeg on June 30, 1941, where she resided most of her childhood and adult life. Ruth devoted her life to being a wife, daughter, mother and grandmother. Ruths passion was cooking and baking for her family. Ruths grandchildren cherished the pails of baking that grandma made with love especially for them. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 653 Knowles Ave., Winnipeg, with Pastor Bill Tuininga officiating. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion.
