Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERNARD KLASSEN Bernard Rodney Klassen, born September 12, 1937, son of the late Cornelious and Nettie Klassen (nee Reimer), husband of Nettie (nee Enns) died December 6, 2002 at Bethania Mennonite Personal Care Home, where he resided his last five and a half years. Bernie leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Nettie, daughters, Anna and Laela and their husbands, Paul and Ted; grandchildren, Alec, Nicola and Molly; his brothers, Jack (Connie),Glen (Betty), Ron (Esther), Peter (Luella), Dan (Valerie) and Ken (Roxanne) his sisters, Alfreida (Harold), Linda (Del), Julia (Ron) and Sandra (Richard) his brothers-in-law, John and Ray and all their families. He will also be fondly remembered by his mother-in-law Anna Enns and all of her family. Bernie was predeceased by his parents and his sisters, Leona and Elizabeth; and most recently his father-in-law, Dietrich Enns. Funeral service will be held at Bethel Mennonite Church, 870 Carter Ave. on Wednesday, December 11 at 10:30 a.m. Viewing for family and friends will be held at Bethel Mennonite Church on Tuesday, December 10 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service. Interment at Mennonite Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to thank the extraordinary staff at Bethania for their compassionate loving care not only of Bernie but his loved ones as well. We are also very grateful for the years of prayerful support from our many caring friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 141 Bannatyne Ave., or Bethania Personal Care Home, 1045 Concordia Ave. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
