GIUSEPPINA (JOSEPHINA) CIANFLONE (nee NICOTERA) Peacefully, on December 8, 2002 at her home, Calvary Place. At the age of 91, Giuseppina Cianflone went to be with the Lord and her beloved husband, Gaetano Cianflone. Giuseppina will be remembered for her kindness and gentle ways, and for her loving concern for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and entertaining her family and friends. She and her husband Gaetano spent many enjoyable years with their family and friends at Matlock and in Mazatlan. Giuseppina leaves to cherish her children, Angelina and Augustino, Tony and Tita, Lena and Sam, John and Sharon, Rina and Johnny. Her grandchildren, Dolores and Larry, Penny and Greg, Penny and Bruce, Guy, Kym, Debbie, Shelley, Kerry, Angela and Doug, Monica, Tony, Sandy and Franco, Michael. Her great-grandchildren, Amanda, Ryan, Tamara, Rachel, TJ, Samantha, Christopher, Amber, and Marissa. Numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Gaetano; her parents, Antonio and Bernadina Nicotera; and son-in-law Gino Buccini. Special thanks to Dr. Choptiany, Helmut, Hilda and Joanne, and all the staff of Calvary Place for their care, support and love. Pallbearers will be Messrs. Guy Cianflone, Kerry Cianflone, Tony Cianflone, Larry Smykalski, Greg Block, Doug Enns, and Bruce Lynn. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, December 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, December 12 at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Rosary Church, with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding.
