DORIS GAYOWAY (nee DOLA) October 1, 1918 - December 7, 2002 Born in Winnipeg Beach, longtime resident of Winnipeg, Doris leaves behind her loving husband Allan, devoted son Gary, daughter Nancy and her companion Serge; cherished grandchildren, Jill and Jason; Jill, wife of Jason; much loved great-grandchildren, Austin and Ethan; brothers, Harry and Victor; and sister Ann. Doris shall be remembered for her winning smile, charitable disposition, generous heart, keen intelligence and gracious ways. Doris, in a lengthy career as an inspired buyer and manageress first at the Varsity Clothing Shoppe and then Manitoba Clothing, had a loyal clientele of customers who followed her advice faithfully over her 50 years of service. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 12, at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
