Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH FREDERICK McDONALD It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear husband and father, Joe McDonald on Monday, December 9, 2002 at the age of 54 years. Joe leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Elaine and his children, Parker and Sarah; his mother Audrey; his two brothers and five sisters and their respective families in Winnipeg, Toronto, and Calgary, and special pet Lizzy. Joe was predeceased by his father Bill. Joe was raised and educated in Toronto. He travelled to the West Coast where he met Elaine. They married in 1975 and settled in Winnipeg where he made a career in broadcasting. His joy was teaching others his trade. Coaching hockey and baseball was his passion. He coached both Parker and Sarah in their youth. Joes sense of humour, laughter, and stories will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Special thanks from the family are extended to A.J. and Jody for all their care and concern. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Father Peter Monty, S.J. at the St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, Stafford Street at Corydon Avenue, on Thursday, December 12, at 1:00 p.m. Viewing will begin at 11:45 a.m. at the church. The service will terminate at the church. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joes memory to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220.
