ROBERT GRAHAM McDONALD Peacefully on December 8, 2002 at the age of 84, Graham passed away at the Red River Place in Selkirk. Graham was predeceased by his parents, Alex and Isabel and leaves surviving his wife of 52 years Edna; two sons, Gary (Marie) of Cloverdale, MB and Owen of Eckville, AB; three daughters, Lois (Bryan) of Olds, AB, Susie (Donnie) of Eckville and Valdine of Selkirk; three sisters, Orma (Wilf) Agar, Helen (Ed) Meyers and Marie (Edwin) Bracken; grand-children, Ricky Dean and Ronda, Janelle and Justin, Trisha, Tara and Katherine, Samantha and Tashauna; one great-grandson Braxton; and many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed. Graham was born and raised in Clandeboye where he lived most of his life. He served in the Royal Canadian Naval Reserve as stoker 1st class from 1944-1946. He was a plumber/pipe fitter all his life and belonged to local union No. 254 for 36 years. He also received his 50 year pin from the Royal Canadian Legion Selkirk Branch No. 42 this year. We, the family of Graham would like to give a very special thanks to the Red River Place and their great staff for the wonderful care dad received during this past year. You all deserve a pat on the back for doing what you do. Many thanks. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Friday, December 13 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
