JOHN DOBROWOLSKI 1930 - 2002 Suddenly, on Tuesday, December 10, 2002, John Dobrowolski passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 72 years. Predeceased by his parents, Walter and Frances; brothers, Anton, Stanley and Joe and one sister in infancy. He will be lovingly be remembered by his wife Adele; son Kevin (Tracy) daughter Colleen (Graham) and grandchildren, Cameron, Kirk and Chloe; brother Frank (Helen) sisters, Louise, Helen, Julia, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. John retired in 1992 from Cowin Steel where he worked for 46 years. Later in the fall of 1992 John retired his meat cutting business in St. Andrews to his son Kevin. He enjoyed fishing at the cottage each summer and spent many winters in Arizona. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 16 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Glen Eden Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations in Johns memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
