DALE DOUCET (nee MESTERY) Dale Doucet (nee Mestery) was born May 6, 1952, and passed on December 10, 2002, after a lengthy illness which she bore with grace and courage. Dale is survived by her parents, John and Eileen Mestery; sisters, Kathy Mestery and Christie Matiation (Ron) and brother John Mestery (Sandy) a niece, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Dale was born again in 1978, and chose a life of service to her Lord which she fulfilled with passion. She supported many charities, including orphanages. Dale was committed to and supported her church, Water of Life Christian Ministries. She was devoted to her work and ministering to others. Dales gift of creativity expressed itself in many artistic endeavours. Some of Dales many accomplishments included: Interior Design at the University of Manitoba, entrepreneur of International Software Corporation, Waymaker and Waymaker Graphics, Royal Canadian Piano Teaching Diploma, writer of poetry published in "The Wandering Soul" (1988), graduated as Valedictorian from Bible School, Pastoral Care giver at Calgary Foothills Hospital. Dales loves included classical music, art and her cats, who were like her children. A funeral service is scheduled December 13 in Calgary, Dales home. A memorial service will be held in Winnipeg at Immanuel United Church, 755 Golspie, at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 13.
