CHARLOTTE MARIE-JEANNE KHAN (nee DELAQUIS) With her family by her side, Charlotte passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, December 10, 2002. Charlotte leaves behind her husband Zamid; and children, Michel, Natasha and Hafeez (Deb). Charlotte also leaves to mourn her death her father Pierre Delaquis; sisters, Claudette (Norbert), Gisele, Hugette (Don), Lucille (Dennis), Rosanne (Guy) brothers, Joseph (Lucienne), Jacques (Priscille), Martin and her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Therese. Charlotte was born on November 4, 1949 in Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB. She moved to Winnipeg to attend St. Charles Academy. She later married and raised her family while holding various positions at Air Canada and its affiliates, and last worked as an IT specialist in application services at IBM. Charlotte will always be remembered for her "joie de vivre". She had a love for adventure and new experiences, a love she passed to her three children. Always enjoying the simple luxuries of life, Charlotte cherished time spent with friends and family. She was forever a happy host and guest, always looking forward to the next family get-together. Her love and enthusiasm will sorely be missed by all those who knew her and it is with deep sorrow that we bid adieu to our wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. A celebration of her life will be held at St. Norbert Parish on Saturday, December 14 at 12:00 noon with her uncle, Bishop Noel Delaquis as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Victoria Hospital Foundation may be made on Charlottes behalf.
