Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTANLEY LASTIWKA On Tuesday, December 10, 2002, Stanley Lastiwka died at home in his 68th year. Stan was born April 19, 1934, educated at Strathcona and Isaac Newton School. He retired in 1986 from Canada Post after 26 years of service. He was a past passive member of Ukrainian National Home and Heritage Club. His life long interests were his music and restoration of furniture, endeavors of finished projects that complimented many homes. Stan was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Jean with whom he journeyed and celebrated 45 years of married life on June 29, 2002; children, Maria, Michael and Angela; son-in-law Jose, for whom Stan held in high esteem; treasured granddaughter Nikki; mother-in-law Josephine Jarowski; brother-in-law Dan Jarowski; sister-in-law Helen Jarowski; and cousin Mary Pawluk. He was predeceased by parents Dymtro and Mary and father-in-law Anthony Jarowski for whom he had great regard and bond. The family would like to thank Dr. Chi C. Loh; Dr. D. Mynin Cardiology Clinic HSC, whom was his cardiologist since 1985, sincere thanks for your 17 years of excellent cardio care; and Dr. C. Hitchon, Rheumatology. Prayers will be held on Thursday, December 12 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 13 at 1:00 p.m., also at the Chapel. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leon Kalyniak, Jose Varas, Barry Levandoski and Stanley Jorowski, Todd Longley and Luis Alvarez.
