SIGBERT "BERT" KENDALL Peacefully, on Monday, December 9, 2002 at the Tudor House Personal Care Home, Selkirk, Bert passed away at the age of 98. Bert was born April 4, 1904 in Morden, MB, the oldest of eight children. Bert spent most of his life farming, fishing, and logging, and he knew every town, mile, and road in Manitoba. Bert was a kind, thoughtful person who did life his way. He was known for his quick wit, and his uncanny way of recalling people and places he knew over his long life. He gave from the heart, always putting everyone before himself. He was one of a kind, an amazing man. He was predeceased by his parents; sister Millie; brothers, Fred, Bill (Mary), Phil (Ethel), Henry, Adolf (Ella), Ed (Fran) and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Special thanks to all staff and nurses at Tudor House Personal Care Home. At his request, cremation has taken place and interment will follow at a later date in Meadow Lea Cemetery.
