Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLUCY CHABAN February 14, 1914 - December 11, 2002 On Wednesday, December 11, 2002, Lucy Chaban went to Heaven. She was predeceased by her husband Jacob in 1996; her son Jacob Andrew in 1993; and her son-in-law Brian Glendenning in 1993. Those left behind to miss her are son Dick (Alice) daughter Jeanette Glendenning; son Walter; and daughter Suzy McKay (Jerry). She loved her grandchildren and was loved by Yvonne Kirstein, Kurt Kirstein (Margaret), Kris Schneider (Burt) Blair, Chris, and Connie Chaban; Rick Bisshop, Wayne Chaban; Jenny; Sean and Scott McKay. She also leaves many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and Reginald Abecrombie, her cat. Baba was high-spirited and regal to the end. She resided in Medicine Hat and was famous for her knitted slippers. She loved to go to the Medicine Hat Blue Jay games and enjoyed the Casinos. In her younger years, her cheesecake was divine, her perogies and holubchi were surpassed by none, and her kitchen was a wonderful place to be when the family gathered regularly on Sunday afternoons. Special thanks to my sister Jeanette for caring for Baba, and to the staff at the South Country Sunnyside Care Centre. You will live on in my heart, Mom - Suzy
