JULIA GOODMAN Peacefully on December 12, 2002 at the Selkirk General Hospital, Julia Goodman, aged 83 years, a lifelong resident of Netley, MB. Julia was predeceased by her husband Fred in 1971; parents, Steven and Fanny; sisters, Annie and Vickie; her brother Bill; and brothers-in-law Victor and Murray. She leaves surviving one son Ron (Annette) of Winnipeg; grandsons, Kirk and Trevor; a sister Mary; brothers-in-law, Victor and Murray; and numerous nieces and nephews. Julia was born in Netley on October 9, 1919 and had lived there all her life. She enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds, flowers and her special pet "Wimpy". Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 16 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the St. Georges Cemetery, Wakefield. Her pallbearers will be her grandsons, Kirk and Trevor Goodman, Gordon and RC Taylor, Eugene Leniuk and Ron Palmer. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Selkirk General Hospital or the St. Georges Cemetery, Wakefield. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
