ALICE M. PALSSON It is with great sadness the family of Alice Palsson announces her passing on December 12, 2002 at the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital, after a lengthy illness. Alice was born November 15, 1921 in Winnipeg, MB. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Leifur; her parents, Andrew and Anne Herbert; sisters, Ellen, Edna, Ethel, Phyllis, Marge, Audrey; and her two brothers, Charlie and Bud. Alice will be deeply missed by her loving daughters, Dianne (Gregg) Forbister and Judy (Roy) Fortin; grandchildren, Marty, Tracey (Jason), Jackie (Scott), Troy (Michelle) and Blaine (Erin) and her five very special great-grandchildren, Brenden, Tanner, Thomas, Trey and Jesse; sisters, Marion Bouman and Dorothy Scovil; in-laws, Kris Vigfusson, Kitty Palsson, Steini (Runa) Palsson, Pat Olson and George Florence; also many other relatives and many friends. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 17 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lundar Lutheran Church with Pastor Terry Throndson officiating. Interment to follow in the Lundar Cemetery. Everyone in attendance can consider themselves honorary pallbearers. Thanks to the "special" home care attendants that took the time to be part of Moms little family and to the staff at the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital for their kindness and love. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made either to the Lundar Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or to CancerCare Manitoba, 109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
