JULIANNA COOK A beautiful spirit has been set free in the arms of our Lord. On December 11, 2002, our beloved mother, daughter, sister and grandmother passed from this life to rejoin those in heaven that predeceased her: husband Patrick in 1983, father Napoleon in 1976, sister Norma in 1979, niece Sandra in 1994, nephew Baron in 1998 and brother Roger in 2002. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her sons, Murray (Marian), Roy (Wanda), Garry (Lillian), Curtis; and by her daughters. Pat, Lillian, Leslie (Kirby), Dina (Leon) as well as 21 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Memories of her kind heart and jovial spirit will also be treasured by special friend Donat; mother Veronica; sisters, Annette, Lillian, Jean, Karyn, Iris, Marlene, Denise; and brothers, Leon, Edward and Alvin. Mom was a creative person who took pride in a lovely home that was always decorated for special occasions. Her grandchildren provided a special joy to her life and her one wish was to rent a bus and take my grandchildren to the store so they can buy whatever they want. She was diagnosed with diabetes in 1980 and though her illness eventually got the better of her she always maintained a positive attitude and an admirable sense of serenity. Our loving mother will always be remembered as an honest, strong and courageous woman. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the kind staff at Health Sciences Centre Rehabilitation Centre, 4th floor, for the treatment she received while in their care. Wake services will be held at the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church, Fort Alexander, MB beginning Thursday evening. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 14 at 2:00 p.m., also from the church, with Fr. Jean Jacque Sarceau officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery. For those of you who have a mother treasure her with care For you will never know her value Till you see that she is not there. REST IN PEACE DEAR MOTHER RUSSELL FUNERAL HOMES LTD & CREMATORIUM of Beausejour, Manitoba are in care of arrangements. Call 1-866-424-6271 (toll free) or 268-2263.
