DENIS SABOURIN It is with deep sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, of St. Jean Baptiste, at the Morris General Hospital on Thursday, December 12, 2002. Denis leaves to cherish his memory his darling wife of 50 years, Denise (nee Cloutier) five children, Suzanne (Tom) Jablonski, Marie (Rene) Massinon, Gabriel (Danielle) Sabourin, Nicole (Rene) Bissonnette and Jacqueline (Robert) Manaigre. The grandchildren, his pride and joy, Sharon, Tim (Deanna), Jason, Jody and Janice Jablonski; Stephane (Melanie), Pascal and Joel Massinon; Holly and Lindsay Sabourin; Jordan and Stephanie Bissonnette; and Eric Manaigre, will always remember and be thankful for his many "wise" sayings and his "Joie-de-Vivre." Denis was born on February 4, 1930, in St. Jean Baptiste where he lived all his life. He was a kind, caring and generous man who was devoted to his family and friends, and was happiest when surrounded by them. His contagious passion for music was surpassed only by his love for others. The funeral mass will be celebrated by labbe Charles Fillion at the St. Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church on Monday, December 16 at 2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Denis memory to the Health Sciences Foundation, designated towards bipolar disorder research, MS7, 820 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1R9.
