Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryADELINE THIESSEN Peacefully on December 12, 2002, at Concordia Hospital, Adeline Thiessen, of Winnipeg, died at the age of 87 years. Adeline is survived by sister Melita (Clarence) Chick; sister-in-law Louise (Gordon) Thomas, all of Winnipeg; niece Sharon (Barry) Trojanowski of British Columbia; nephews, Robert (Charmaine) Thiessen, Michael (Geri) Thiessen, all of Winnipeg, Gerald (Judith) Chick of Australia, Brian (Sarah) Chick of North Carolina and their families. She was predeceased by her brother Nicholas. Adeline was educated in Springstein and moved to Winnipeg, eventually working at Martens Sporting Goods for 20 years until her retirement. She then worked many years as a volunteer at Concordia Hospital. Special thanks to all the homecare workers at Bethania Haus. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 16 at 10:30 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy., with interment in Springstein Cemetery. Viewing at the chapel prior to the service. If friends desire, donations may be made to Bethania Personal Care Home or a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
