Beth was born at North Battleford, SK, on December 22, 1911. She was the eldest child of the late Rex and Mary Jane Mason. She married Gordon Lloyd Lowry of Mather, MB on June 30, 1930. They farmed there for many years. Then in 1944 they moved and bought a store in Argyle, MB. They moved to Winnipeg to Bronx Avenue, East Kildonan in 1957 and lived there until they became residents of the West Park Manor in 1992. The family is very grateful for the kindness and support given by the staff of West Park Manor, her niece Melanie and companion Rita Ross. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 18 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with Pastor Richard Quiring officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, a memorial donation may be made to the West Park Manor Personal Care Home, 3199 Grant Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3R 1Y2. I pray that risen from the dead, I may in glory stand, A crown perhaps upon my head, But a needle in my hand. One never learned to sing or play, So let no harp be mine. From birth until my dying day, Plain sewings been my line. Therefore, accustomed to the end In applying useful stitches, Ill be content if asked to mend The little angels britches. - Author Unknown Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
