MURRAY ERNEST McMILLAN It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Murray McMillan on Saturday, December 14, 2002 at Grace Hospital. Left to mourn his passing is his wife of 62 years Kathleen. Murray is survived by his son Bruce (Eleanor) grandchildren, Terry (Don) Niedermayer, Cheryl (Melvin) Parisian, Grant (Bea) Henderson, Colleen Henderson, Glen Henderson, Brock McMillan and Wes McMillan; as well as seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Maureen Henderson and great-grandson David Henderson. Murray was born in 1914 in Erickson, MB and was the last surviving child of Matilda and Charles McMillan. Murray retired from his position as manager of the Accessory Shop at Standard Aero Engine after 39 years of dedicated service. He was active in the community and was instrumental in the reestablishment of the St. James Canadians Junior Hockey Club. Murray enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, bowling and his beloved standard bred horses. He could always be seen with a digest in his pocket and raffle tickets in his hand. A man that could relate to all ages will be sadly missed. A celebration of Murrays life will take place on Wednesday, December 18 at 2:30 p.m. in St. James Anglican Church, 195 Collegiate St. Special thanks to Dr. A. N. Schroeder and the staff on 3 North of the Grace Hospital for their kind and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donation in memory of Murray may be made to the charity of ones choice. Thanks Boss - you were a life saver in 1957 when you were so kind and considerate to a new emigrant employee at SAE. I will never forget you. God Bless. John Weston - Posted by: JOHN WESTON (Co-Worker) on: Sep 18, 2009
