LILLIANE LUSSIER (nee DESMARAIS) A beautiful spirit has been set free in the arms of our Lord. It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of a loving wife, dedicated mother, beloved grandmother and mother-in-law, and charming sister. After a lengthy battle with cancer, Lil faced death with the same courage and faith with which she approached all of her lifes challenges and succumbed where she wanted to be - in her home with her entire family at her side, on December 14, 2002 at the young age of 45. Lilliane practiced Christian principles first and foremost and instilled the same exemplary values in her children and all those that she touched. One of her great love was playing the piano and singing both at home and as conductor of her church choir. She will be lovingly and sadly remembered by her husband Art; son Julien; daughters, Janelle Williams, Jocelyne, Joelle; son-in-law James Williams; and grandson Caleb. Also left to mourn are her father-in-law Gerard Lussier and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Memories of her kind heart and jovial spirit will also be treasured by her siblings, Fabien (Lucille), Laurent (Judy), Georgette Roque (Hubert), Victor (Yvette), Levis (Lucille), Rheal (Stella) and Claude. She was predeceased by her parents, Leon and Edmee; and her mother-in-law Simone. Viewing will be held Wednesday, December 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Jesse E. Coley Funeral Service, 640 N. California St., Stockton, CA 95202. (209) 948-9750. A memorial service and viewing will be held on Thursday, December 19 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Christian Centre, 3051 E. Main St., Stockton 95205. In accordance with Lillianes wishes, cremation will take place. A celebration of Lillianes life will be held this summer in her home town of Lorette, at which time it will be announced in this obitbulkloaduary section.
