JOHN (RED) ADAM PALESHNUIK August 17, 1938 - December 16, 2002 Sadly after a short battle with cancer, John Adam Paleshnuik, lost his fight at the age of 64 years. John will be sadly missed by his daughter Lisa, her husband Richard Hares, their children, Emily and Mitchell; son-in-law Jack Grywinski; grandsons, Adam and Kyle; brothers, Rudy, Morris (Barbara), Edward (Marion), William (Gail) sisters, Rose and Maria (Sytnick) brother-in-law Ken Chrzanowski (Darlene) numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins and friends. John was predeceased by his wife Carol; daughter Lois Grywinski; parents, Joseph and Emelia and infant sister Jenny. John also known as Red was born in Winnipeg. Dad came from a family of four brothers and two sisters and will be greatly missed by them especially at sister Roses annual Easter brunch. My Dad went to electronics school and undertook many projects and business ventures. The most notable would be his business Pyramid Audio. After 20 years in the car electronics industry, Dad finally retired in 1998. Dad kept busy with the St. Anthonys mixed bowling league with which he was the secretary treasurer for 22 years, and looked forward to his Friday night bowling. Dad was an avid sports fan and always knew when there was a game on the television or radio. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and camping especially at our familys favourite campground Hecla Island. John was a loyal friend to many and was always willing to lend a helping hand, offer support, or a shoulder to lean on. My Dad was a devoted family man. He was married to his beloved wife Carol for 40 years before her passing on January 14, 2001. He had many cherished memories of them being together. Dad was a wonderful father to daughters, Lois and Lisa. He was always there for us, offering advice and guidance. Dad was especially devoted when his late daughter Lois was diagnosed with leukemia in 1998. He not only cared for Lois helping her fight her battle but also helped care for grandsons, Adam and Kyle by always looking out for them. A visit with Papa was always anticipated by his young grandchildren, Emily and Mitchell. Dad said "I really feel like I connected with those two." Dad you can rest in peace now and be with your two angels Mom and Lois. A special thank you to Dr. Simimi, Dr. Welch, Dr. Harris, Dr. N. Ahmed, Dr. Homik, all of the nursing staff on N3 West and the Emergency Department Concordia Hospital. Uncle Red, as we called him, was a very smart kind man. He could make it on his own in the business world. He was always great to talk to as well, and was very knowledgeable when it came to sports. I do miss him --rest in peace Uncle Red :) - Posted by: Grant Paleshnuik (Nephew) on: Jul 24, 2019
