FRANCISCA "IKANG" S. PARNALA October. 9, 1926 - December 13, 2002 It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing away of Francisca Parnala at the age of 76 on December 13, 2002, our beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Pascual; her sons and daughters, Precy (Memeng) and children, Sonny (Thess) and grandchildren, Roxanne and Kristel, Susan (Nanie) and grandchildren, Brandon and Rizza Mae, Nena (Canada) and Jane Navarette in Philippines, Oscar (Guy) and children, Glen and Kimmy Parnala, Melba (Gerry) and children, Analiza and Anthony Toledo, Dig (Susan) and children, Kirby, Jaron and Nikki Parnala in U.S., Aning (Jojie) and children, Jeffrey, Lester and Elyza Ferrer, Mario (Dorie) and children, Marlon, Marvin and Martyn Parnala in Hong Kong, Solly (Bob) and son A-jay Saria, Mercy (Romy) and children, Monique, Nica and Princess Porcioncula, Betty (Dan) and son Patrick Feuillatre and Angie (Alex) and son Allen Caraos; her sisters in the Philippines, Mary Sanchez and Emilia Ilano; her nephew Mario Ilano (Canada) and Danny Parnala and family; along with many other relatives and friends. Ikang will be forever remembered by her family and friends for her kindness, generosity, thoughtfulness and friendship. Viewing (Lamay) will be held on Friday, December 20 and Saturday, December 21 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 24 at St. Edwards Church, 818 Arlington St., with Father Vic Tungohl. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to give their deepest gratitude to the staff of St. Boniface Hospital and Palliative Care Unit Program for their unconditional care and support.
