Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLESLIE ALVA (BILL) POTTER September 11, 1915- December 14, 2002 Peacefully on December 14, 2002, at the Ashern Personal Care Home, Leslie Alva Potter. He is survived by wife Jean of 63 years and three months; four daughters, Mildred (Harold), Merle, Ruth (Doug) and Ruby (Ernie) 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law Silvia Potter. He was predeceased by his parents Walter and Matilda; brothers, George, Richard and Fred; sisters, Ethel, Edith and Muriel. He was born and spent his life in Birch Bay, MB. He worked as a sawyer bushman and a farmer. He enjoyed the outdoors, growing strawberries, singing, music (violin, mandolin, banjo and guitar) and spending time with the family, He was a member of the Congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses for years, and he looked forward to the hope of the resurrection. Rev. 21 Vs 3 and 4. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, December 20 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Ashern, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald St., Suite 200, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Arrangements by Arnason Funeral Homes Ltd.
