EMMA (ANN) WINIFRED FORBISTER HOURIE (nee MORAND) April 1, 1927 - December 17, 2002 It is with great sorrow that the family of Ann Hourie announce her passing on Tuesday, December 17, 2002. Our mother was predeceased by her parents, Elsie and Peter Morand; her sisters, Gail and baby June; and by the two great loves, our father Andrew Forbister and stepfather Andy (Pop) Hourie. Mom leaves to mourn her passing children, Ken Forbister (Doreen) daughters, Katherine Lala (Steve), Veronica Clarke, Joanne Weibe (Wayne), Corinne Forbister and Ellen De-Schutter; 15 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Ann also leaves to mourn her passing her sister Alice Hopps (Jim) and brothers, Peter and Walter; as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 19 at 3:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St., viewing one-half hour prior to service time. Fr. Henry Falconer officiating, cremation to follow. The family of Ann Hourie wish to express their gratitude to the staff of Riverview Health Centre 3E for the excellent care and nursing of our mother.
