Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA LOUISE DOBBIN Pat was born in Montreal in 1940. She spent eight years with the Sisters of St. John the Devine, at St. Johns on the Hill, near Aurora, ON. When the family moved to Winnipeg Pat resided at the Manitoba Development Centre, until she became a resident at Kin Glen, Portage la Prairie in 1973 where she spent the rest of her life. The residents and staff will miss her cheerful presence. Pat was loved by all who came into contact with her. She inspired love. There will be a service of celebration of her life held at Highway Tabernacle Church in Portage la Prairie at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, December 21, 2002. A date of interment will be held later. Pat died December 16 at Victoria Hospital after touching many more lives. Special thanks to Aurora for those difficult hours when no one else was there. Thanks to everyone who met a stranger and gained a friend. Pat is survived by her "Daddy", Davin Dobbin; her brother Mike (and Gail) her nephews, John and Jim; her niece Suzy (and Dave) and grandnephews, Thomas and James; and her sister Margaret. She was predeceased by her beloved mom in 1981 and prior that Grandpa Thompson and her very special "Gam", as well as Uncle Jack (Liane), nephew Joel David and most recently, Auntie Phyllis. From her Kin Glen family, she was predeceased by her roommates, Cathy and Marian and second-mom Dorothy. God made a little person with a great heart. We will miss her forever. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
