PETER A. ENNS On December 18, 2002 at Donwood Manor Personal Care Home, Peter Enns, beloved husband of Annie, peacefully went to his longed for eternal home at the age of 89 years. He will be lovingly remembered by Annie, his wife of 62 years; son Bill (Kathy) daughter Irmie (Joe) Bramer; son Nick (Marlene) grandchildren, Alison (Matthew) Bartel, Russell (Lisa) Enns, Nathan (Christy) Enns, Julie Enns, Peter and Rob Bramer; and great-grandson Jackson Bartel. Two brothers, John and Harry (Terry) as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Abraham and Helene; sisters, Helen Wall, Mary Wall and Agathe Rempel; and brothers, Abe, Jake and Nick. Peter was born on September 9, 1913 in Tiegenhagen, Russia and immigrated to Canada in 1924, settling on a farm near LaSalle, MB, where he grew up, and received his education. In 1940, he married Annie Wall and established a family farm near LaSalle where they farmed until his retirement. Peter spent his retirement living in Winnipeg pursuing a variety of interests such as real estate sales, travelling, hunting, fishing and enjoying his family. In October 2002, Peter moved to Donwood Manor Personal Care Home. The family is deeply grateful for the loving care given by the staff of 2 North and Dr. Martens. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 21 at 10:30 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy., with interment in LaSalle Mennonite Cemetery.
