MRS. WILHELMINA HOTSON (nee NEILSON) Mrs. Wilhelmina Hotson (nee Neilson) passed away December 16, 2002 in the Health Sciences Centre after a short illness. Wilhelmina (Min) was born in Glasgow, Scotland, the second oldest of four children and immigrated to Manor, SK with her mother, two brothers and sister in 1918. Later they moved to Brandon where she completed her education and then worked for McKenzie Seeds as a seed analyst. In June of 1953 she married Wilbert James Hotson (Bert) of Brandon where they lived until later moving to Transcona residing there until Berts death in 1984. She then moved to an apartment in Fort Garry. Min took an active part in the Order of the Eastern Star being a member for over 50 years and was a Past Matron of Jephthah chapter No. 22. She enjoyed many years of golfing, bowling, her garden and the seniors group in later years. She was predeceased by her husband Bert, her father Jarvie, who was killed in the first world war, her mother Jean and brother Norman. Min will be sadly missed by sister Agnes and brother Robert in Brandon; two nieces, Jean and Linda; and one nephew Michael; grandnieces and nephews and great-great-nephews and nieces. Cremation has taken place and family services will be held next summer in Brandon. BARDAL FUNERAL HOME 843 Sherbrook Street, 774-7474
