ANDRE CHARRIERE Suddenly on Wednesday, December 18, 2002, Andre Charriere passed away at the Ste. Anne Hospital at the age of 68 years. Andre will be dearly missed by his loving wife Jeanne (nee Vincent) his children, Louise (Steve), Guy (Cheryl), and Gerard (Jeen) and grandchildren, Brigitte and Denis Freynet, Laurie, Jean and Raymond Charriere, and Eric and Christian Charriere; and two great-granddaughters, Taylor and Keagyn. He is survived by his brothers, Aime (Magella), Clement and Paul (Yvette) and by his sisters, Emma, Alice (Camille), Therese (Alcide) and Simone (Solas). He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Emma Charriere; his brother Joseph; sister-in-law Annette; and nephew Denis. Dad was employed for 25 years at Nelson River Construction as a diesel mechanic prior to his much deserved retirement in December 1990. Even after his retirement, we could always find Dad with a wrench in his hand and a smile on his face. Due to health reasons, the family requests everyone in attendance be perfume and after-shave free. Viewing will be at Ste. Anne Parish on Monday, December 23, at 1:30 p.m., service will follow at 2:00 p.m., with Father Rene Chartier officiating.
