Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH ANNA (BETTY) INGALDSON On Wednesday, December 18, 2002 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Betty passed away after courageously battling Crohns disease. Betty is survived by the loves of her life, her husband of 33 years, Ingi; mother Aurise Crozier; loving children, Kristjan and Kari. Betty was predeceased by father Robert Crozier; grandparents, Henri (Blanche) Theroux, John Rodger and (Jane) Crozier; uncles, Eddie Theroux, Harold Ewert and aunts, Lucille and Yvonne Theroux, Sheilla and Evelyn Crozier. Betty will be deeply missed by her cousins, Jane Ewert, Ruth Thrush; uncles, Sandy and Jack Crozier; aunt Margaret Ewert; childhood friend Maureen Sigurdson; Air Canada cohorts, Robin Fleming, Linda Meckling, Mavis Korotash and the Air Canada "Crows" who celebrate yearly reunions. Her in-laws, Paula and Brian Best and Ivan and Darleen Ingaldson and their families were a big part of Bettys life. Betty was blessed with great friends from Leaside Beach, John and Jan Restall, Glen, Wendy, Eric, Stefan and Sylvia Sigurdson, Brian and Wendy Barker, George and Audrey Dobson. Betty had many friends from the Riverview Community Centres Good Neighbour Group No. 3 and the Fort Rouge Curling Club. Betty was very close to the families of her wedding party, Ken and Lynne England, Bert (Mel), Jerry and Sallie Pierson, Vern and Judy Desmet. Betty was born April 12, 1944 at the Victoria Hospital. She grew up in Fort Rouge and attended Gladstone and Churchill High Schools. In 1964 she graduated as a LPN from St. Boniface Hospital and worked mostly in the Emergency Ward. In 1966 Betty got her dream job as a Flight Attendant for Air Canada. Betty was an excellent Flight Attendant and in 1971 became a Flight Attendant Personal Supervisor in Winnipeg, a position she loved. Betty was well respected and highly regarded by the many flight crews she observed. In 1986 Betty became the Building Office and Support Supervisor. Her first task was to organize the move from the Richardson Building to the new Air Canada building. Betty exemplified her people and management skills in dealing with the various departments as well as overseeing several contractual firms for the building. She enjoyed many friendships and respect from various staff and the management that kept the building functioning. Betty loved her years with Air Canada and the people she encountered. Betty retired in 1992. Bettys family was most important to her and she did everything to provide a friendly, loving, happy household for them. She will be greatly missed. Bettys request for a private family service will be honoured. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of her to a charity of your choice.
