Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTANISLAVA (STASIA) LESIN Very peacefully on Wednesday, December 18, 2002, Stasia Lesin passed away at St. Josephs Residence in Winnipeg, which has been her home for the past year and a half. She is survived by her daughter Christine Niedermayer (Charlie) two grandsons, Don (Theresa) and Jim (Joanne) four great-grandchildren, Gordon, Brian, Bill and Aimee. She was predeceased by her great-grandson Joey on December 4, 1978 and her husband Michael on November 10, 2001. Stasia was born in Poland in the village of Piwonice on April 10, 1910. She came to Canada in 1951 and lived in Powerview most of her life. She eventually moved to the Pineview Lodge in Pine Falls. One of her passions was gardening, and she loved growing flowers. She loved her home and family and visitors were always made to feel welcome. We wish to offer our sincere appreciation to the staff of St. Josephs Residence for the compassionate care given to Stasia during her stay. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, December 21 at 2:00 p.m. at the Notre Dame Du Laus Roman Catholic Church in Powerview, with Rev Fr. Jim Gray presiding.
