James served with the Canadian Forces during the Second World War. He is survived by his brother Roy of Amherst, NS and his sister Edna Hiltz of Dartmouth, NS. He was predeceased by his parents; his brother Arthur and his sister Ethel. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23 at 1:00 p.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway.
