VIRGINIE MAILHIOT (nee MONCHALIN) Peacefully with her family by her side, Virginie passed away on December 19, 2002, at the Foyer Valade at the age of 99 years. Virginie leaves to cherish her memory, her two sons, Norman and Roger (Joan) her six grandchildren, Jeffery (Angela), Nicole, Michelle (and their mother Gloria), Michael, Daniel, and Robyn; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Virginie was born on April 29, 1903, in St. Leon, MB and was the fourth child of a family of nine children. She moved and lived in St. Boniface for the remainder of her life. A special thanks to the staff and friends at Foyer Valade. Prayers will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 22 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 23, also at Desjardins Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at the St. Boniface Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Virginies memory to a charity of ones choice.
