Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryADA ISABEL MOORE (nee SIMPSON) Peacefully on Friday, December 20, 2002, Ada passed away at the Oakview Place Nursing Home at the age of 89. She was born in Shoal River, MB on May 26, 1913. She received her teaching certificate in 1947 and taught for many years in the Selkirk and Winnipeg School systems until her retirement. She married her husband Walter Robert Moore in 1950. Together they resided in St. James until his passing in 1974. Her two brothers also predeceased her. She was a longtime member of the St. James ACW. She will be sadly missed by her good friend Anne Caird. A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 23 at 2:00 p.m. at St. James Anglican Church, 195 Collegiate Ave., with Rev. Canon John Caird officiating. A special thank-you to the staff at Oakview Place who cared for Ada in her final years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oakview Place, 2395 Ness Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3J 1A5.
