MICHAEL** SENESHEN 1916 - 2002 Peacefully, on Dec-ember 19, 2002 at Victoria Hospital. Mike leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Lorne (Carole), Ben (Margaret), Ivan (Chris) and daughter Gloria (Grant) grandchildren, Deborah (Darin), Susan (Doug), Kim (Paul), Kelly, Garrett and Nicole; also four great-granddaughters; brothers, Peter (Gerry), Walter (Helen) and sisters, Mary (Harry), Shirley (Ernie) and many nieces and nephews. Mike was predeceased by his wife Bella in September 2001; his parents, Leon and Annie; sisters, Pauline and Nellie; and brothers, John I and John II. Mike was born in Malonton, MB. He and Bella were married in 1937 and farmed in the Insinger, SK area. The family moved to Winnipeg in 1952. Mike retired from the Winnipeg School Division in 1981. He spent his later years as a caregiver to his loving wife until her passing. Prayers will be held on Sunday, December 22 at 7:00 p.m. at the Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church, Grant Avenue and Harrow Street. A memorial service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., on Monday, December 23 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Flowers are gratefully declined. If desired, donations in Mikes memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Dr. W. Heidenrich and the staff on Unit 3 at the Victoria Hospital. Also special thanks to his neighbour Irene for her care and compassion.
