Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNICK KAYE October 24, 1928 - December 21, 2002 Peacefully at home following a courageous battle with cancer. Nick is survived by his wife Olive; his daughter Alice and her husband Clarence Holigroski, their children Christopher and Meredith Holigroski; his son Bob; sister Jean and her husband Ted Kess; sisters-in-law Anita Kaye, Emilie, Jeanette and her husband Ed White; brothers-in-law Bill Dolyniuk of Tyndall, Al Schesnuk and Lynn, Michael Kiedyk and his wife Betty Kiedyk, Bill Kiedyk; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Jim in 1999; sisters-in-law Pauline Schesnuk in 1996 and Mary Dolyniuk in 2000, Anne Wevursky in 1990 and Bill Wevursky in 1980 and friend Chris from Chris Inn in 1992. Nick operated the Logan Bushnell Shell Service Station for many years and worked at Star Texaco, Corydon Car Clinic and Tempo on Redwood. Many thanks to his brother-in-law Bill Kiedyk of Toronto who made it possible for Nick to enjoy a visit to see the people and places where he grew up. No words can adequately express our gratitude to his brother-in-law Michael Kiedyk and his wife Betty for their dedicated compassionate care and reliable countless trips for Nicks treatments and exams through months of his illness. Nick was fortunate to receive the most kindly and professional care from Nurse Emily D. Cremation has taken place. Nick considered his former employees, friends, neighbours especially Eugene and Steven and family to be his best memorial, consequently no formal services will mark his passing.
