Bert was a loving, gentle and thoughtful husband, father and grandfather who loved his family dearly. He was very proud of his family and made sure they always came first in his life. He had a great sense of humour, and was a happy, friendly man who always had a smile on his face. Bert enjoyed music and was always playing the guitar and singing.
