JEAN CHOPYK It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother. Jean is survived by her son John and wife Marie of Edina, MN, and son Bill of Winnipeg, MB. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Dr. John-Bruce Chopyk, wife Debbie and daughter Victoria Page of Fort Lauderdale, FL; Dr. James Biondi and son Max James of North Haven, CT; Tracy Jean Chopyk of Calgary, AB and Michael Wegner of Winnipeg, MB. Jean was born in Gonor, MB on February 6, 1910, but spent most of her life in St. Boniface. She was predeceased by her sisters, Catherine, Doris, Mary, Polly and Sophie; and husband Bill, on July 9, 1985 after 55 years of marriage. Jeans loving presence will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. The family wishes to acknowledge the loving support of Dr. Kevin Coates and the staff at St. Boniface Hospital and the Misericordia Health Centre. The funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, December 27, 2002, at 11:00 a.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons St. Pallbearers will be Jerry, Jeremy, Tom and Ken Akerstream, Mike Wegner and Frank Debarre.
