DICK NEUFELD It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Dick Neufeld on Saturday, December 21, 2002 at the Concordia General Hospital at the age of 71 years. He will be remembered by his loving wife Freda, of 50 years; his four sons, Rick (Marie), Bob (Mary), Darrell, Randy (Angie) and his two grandchildren, Ryan and Courtney; his parents; daughter Debbie; and seven brothers and sisters predeceased him. Dick was born in Kronstual, Ukraine and lived there until he was caught up in the Second World War. He then immigrated to Canada with his family. He worked hard and learned two trades, plastering and taping, which he did until he could no longer work. In his free time, he enjoyed taking his family camping and fishing which is still enjoyed by everyone today. In his later years, he enjoyed his grandchildren and going out for coffee with his friends and family. The family wishes to thank Dr. Komenda and the staff at Concordia Hospital for all their care. Funeral service will be held at Klassen Funeral Chapel, Monday, December 30 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Albert Durksen officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to service. Interment will take place in Brookside Cemetery. Donations may be made in memory of Dick to Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St. R3B 2H8.
