PETER OREST PETRASH It is with heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Orest Petrash, beloved husband of Margaret, following a brief illness, on Sunday, December 22, 2002. Predeceased by his parents, Anna and Joseph Petrash, as well as brothers, Bill and Steve. Orest will be lovingly remembered by his wife Margaret; son Ken (Connie) daughter Kim (Darryl) two grandsons, Cody and Corey; brothers, Walter (Corky), Matt (Lena), John (Pearl) sisters, Marie (Bill), Olga (Basil) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Orest was born July 17, 1941 in Sundown, MB, the youngest of eight children. Dad was employed at Superior Envelopes for 35 years, retiring in 1996. Dad enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his two grandsons, Cody and Corey. Dad was alwasy there when anyone needed a helping hand, no matter how big or small the situation was. With respect to our fathers wishes, cremation has taken place, with a private family interment. A memorial reception will take place Monday, December 30 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St., Winnipeg, MB. All of his friends and family may attend to celebrate his life and new journey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Orests memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
